My kids attended both after school and summer camp and Kenpo was so accommodating to my last minute need for care. My youngest learned SO much and asks to go back to play with the toys and his friends. My oldest loved learning Karate there and asked to continue lessons for his bday. The transportation to school saved my life too! Thank you to Donna and Melissa specifically for always being friendly, helpful and caring.
My son has been her for about a year. love it. Miss Ms.Kayla but Mrs.Catlin is nice too. Ms.Hope is my sons absolute favorite person. he'll walk up and she'll pick him up and he doesnt know me anymore. never met a staff member that wasnt super nice. the kids seem so happy and never trying to leave. They are stern when needed which is great since not even parents are these days. The teachers and helpers always have a kid in their arms like a monkey which to me means the kids are happy and feel safe with them. cameras are everywhere. you cant just walk in the bathrooms alone as an adult they will check for the kids then you can go. They know all the kids by name at the desk. My son love it and hes not going anywhere until hes full day at school. little expensive since we get no financial help but worth every penny and then more.
My daughter attends this daycare and the staff have been nothing short of amazing! They do soo many activities with the kids, my money has been well spent for sure. Ms Donna and Ms Karen in the office have been wonderful, Ms Donna was who answered the phone the very first time I ever called and she walked me through everything that there was to know which made me choose this location for daycare. Thanks American Kenpo!
My daughter absolutely loves this place! Especially the summer program! I love that they teach her karate, her self confidence has gotten so much better since starting it.
American Kenpo has been a great place for both of my kids. Both, have been able to discover a desire and love for karate. Both have made many friends of all ages and really enjoy the summer program. I enjoy the discipline, the focus, and the respect that Kenpo is instilling in both kids. The staff and instructors are great mentors for the young children they teach and care for. I also love the idea of working with the children with their homework. The fact that Kenpo also buses children to and from their schools is a tremendous benefit for me since it allows me to work a full 8 hour day no problem.

We love American Kenpo Karate – everyone is very professional and dedicated to the children! My son has attended for the past 18 months for karate, weapons club, after school & summer care. My son looks forward to going every day, he’s made friends, has built self-confidence and is having fun learning karate. I have also joined the Women’s Self Defense class which is great, too! We plan to be with AKK for many, many years to come!
Excellent studio!! The instructors are strong, quality instructors who know their martial art. They work hard to train the students to know and be able to execute. This studio not only trains students in karate but also in character. My son has finally found his sport! I highly recommend it!
I have found that American Kenpo Karate daycare prices have been competitive with others in the area. But with Kenpo, you get so much more. You get your karate training along with field trips. Kenpo also has atleast one activity once a month that normally is either free or only a few dollars for all members. I would recommend American Kenpo Karate to anyone looking for daycare or even just karate classes. In fact, I have even referred my sister to Kenpo Karate and now my two nephews go there as well. Kenpo Karate is a big karate facility so there are a lot of children who attend and I am amazed how every instructor, daycare worker and even the office staff knows every kids name and their parents. It is also nice that they have a great mixture of both male and female instructors. I am also very pleased with how clean the facility is and friendly the workers are.
